The Black Entrepreneurship BC Society is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Our Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
Measures We Take
- Keyboard navigation support throughout the site
- Skip-to-main-content link on every page
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios on all text
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images
- Semantic HTML structure with appropriate headings
- ARIA labels on interactive elements
- Full French language support via our bilingual platform
